Yuna Kim loves soccer

Last July, South Korea didn't really go very far in the World Cup, but Yuna Kim showed her nationalistic spirit by being the face (and the voice!) for a campaign to support her fellow Korean athletes. Along with Korean singer and actor, Lee Seung Gi, Yuna sang "Smile, Boy" as part of KB Finance Group's Worldcup campaign.

The cheerful song translates to:
happy in your smile.
laughing(or smiling) a little louder.
you just forget the way to fly.
spread your wings, puff your chest out and fly to the best of your ability.
we are on your side forever.
you have a dream.
cheer up, be brave, you can do it!

Here's the full version of the song:

OT, but I did cheer for Spain last World Cup (not Korea lol) so I have some of these pics below saved from last July. I was so happy when they won their first ever World Cup!!! Go Iker!

The South Korean team may have failed to bring home the World Cup this year (and Idk if they ever will, tbh >_<) but they did get to have Yuna telling them to "Smile, boy!" so I'm still jealous. Yuna makes me smile errrday <3

  8. If the Octopus deems them worthy of winning, South Korea shall be victorious.

  9. Haha, every time I rooted for a team in the world cup this year, that team lost. But it was a great world cup this year!

South Korea didn't do horribly either... North Korea did so bad, I actually pitied them.
