Yuna Kim: Google's Zeitgeist 2010 Year in Review


Olympic Figure Skating Champion Kim Yu-Na was introduced in '2010 Sports Heroes' selected by 'Google', which is the most popular search engine in the world.

Google announced 'Google Zeitgeist 2010: Year in Review'. The title shows video clips related to figures and events that have been immensely searched in the globe. Members of the newest sports heroes include Diego Milito (soccer), Graeme McDowel (golf), John Isner (tennis), Nicolas Mahut (tennis), San Francisco Giants (baseball), Sidney Crosby (ice hockey), and Kim Yu-Na. Kim is the only female athlete to be on the list.

Kim Yu-Na won the Olympic title with astonishing artistry and perfect technique building new world records by a whopping margin of 23 points from the silver medalist in Vancouver. Her superb performance impressed the world, took her to the Time 100 gala and she was named the Sports Woman of the Year by Women's Sports Foundation and Goodwill ambassador of UNICEF.

She is also nominated as Athlete of the Year by United States Sports Academy, and there is ongoing internet poll for the selection.
