On the 26th, UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador Kim Yu-na and Pan Union (Happy Skater Kim Yu-na Fan Cafe and DC Inside Kim Yu-na Gallery) handed over KRW 185 million to the UNICEF Korea Committee for the treatment of the Corona 19 virus.

This year, the happy skater Kim Yu-na Fan Cafe, which has more than 73,000 fans, held a donation event to celebrate Kim's 10th and 6th anniversary of the Olympic championship. Ambassador's fund was added to 100 million won.

In particular, Kim Yu-na and Ambassador Kim said, “I would like to be a small help in the prevention and treatment of infections that want to prevent the spread of corona 19.” As a result, the full amount of funds will be used to support medical activities through Kyungpook National University Hospital, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

On the other hand, fans of Ambassador Kim Yu-na have held various fund-raising events such as Kim Yu-na's birthday and Olympic anniversary since 2010, and the cumulative funds delivered to the UNICEF Korea Committee amounted to 270 million won. Goodwill Ambassador Kim has also donated 1 billion won to children around the world who are suffering from natural disasters and conflicts such as the 2010 Haiti earthquake, 2012 Syrian child, 2013 Philippines typhoon and Nepal Nepal earthquake.
