Yuna's Schedule: International Visits

‘Figure Queen’ Yuna Kim will arrive in Tokyo, Japan on the March 20 for the World Figure Skating Championships.

Kim’s management  ‘All That Sport’(ATS) confirmed this on Wednesday.

“According to the International Skating Union(ISU), official practices start on the 20th. So currently that is our planned arrival date.

There might be a change in plans if the ISU makes changes in the schedule but the 20th is the most likely.

The flights have not been decided on, but we will arrive in Tokyo in the afternoon," said ATS.

It will be ‘The return of the Queen’ for Kim who will participate in the World Championships that start on March 21.

It is her first competition (after last year’s Worlds) after a year’s absence since she decided not to participate in the 2010-2011 Grand Prix events.

Kim will debut her two new programs, ‘Giselle’ for her short program and ‘Homage to Korea’ for  her free skating.

It is speculated that her new costumes will not be shown until then.

The ladies short program will be held on 25, and the free skating on 26. The exhibition gala show will be held on the 27.

Kim will return to Korea on the 28th and will help with PyeongChang bid for  the 2018 Winter Olympics.

First Kim will be attending the Sports Accord that will be held in London, Great Britain on April 3 – 8.

Her schedule after that is still being discussed with the PyeongChang 2018 Bid Committee.

It has not been decided but Kim may participate at the International Olympic Committee(IOC) technical briefing that will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland  on May 18-19.

Kim will also be preparing for an ice show that is scheduled to be held in May.

Kim will head back to Los Angeles in June.

It is speculated that she will participate in the IOC session where the 2018 Winter Olympic bid winner will be announced.

The IOC session is to be held in Durban, South Africa on July 6.

If you live in any of these cities, try to catch a glimpse of Yuna! ;]
