The performance which won Yuna the World Championship

This is a vid of Yuna performing 'Danse Macabre', which was one of the two performances which won her the 2009 Figure Skating World Championship. With this performance, she also set a new world record in scores.




This performance really highlights Yuna's incredible speed on the ice; while most skaters slow down and try to balance themselves when they are about to do a jump, Yuna speeds up instead and uses her speed as a way to gain momentum, resulting on really HIGH jumps with incredible distance. Most skaters can barely cover half the distance that Yuna covers in one jump and not even close to how high Yuna is off the ground. Yuna is also celebrated for her musicality and how she skates to the music instead of just doing choreography like a robot. She definitely deserve every score she gets.
